An experienced and passionate Learning and Development practitioner, David Hendrick Jr has more than 20 years of experience in the field of People and Organizational Development.

David leads the learning arm of the Centre for Healthcare Innovation, where he is responsible for driving workforce transformation and facilitating knowledge transfer within and beyond the hospital to develop a future-ready, self-driven, and lifelong learning workforce through defining new learning pedagogies. His stint at Centre for Healthcare Innovation has seen him sharing his experience at various local Institutes of Higher Learning, as well at global events such as ATD Virtual Conference 2020, ATD Middle East Conference 2020, ATD 2020 China Summit. He has also shared experiences and stories across a number of publications.

Prior to joining Tan Tock Seng Hospital, David was responsible for the opening of the Asia Pacific Learning Campus, the first outside Germany, for BASF, the largest chemical company in the world. The Learning Campus focused on training leaders across Asia Pacific in this multidiscipline organization. David also spearheaded the full spectrum of Learning and Organizational Development needs for Frasers Centrepoint Limited's (now called Frasers Property) 3 core businesses - Frasers Centrepoint Homes, Frasers Centrepoint Mals, and Frasers Hospitality, in a corporate headquarters capacity. His role required him to identify opportunities to strengthen and enhance leadership capabilities.

Thomas is an accomplished digital education professional with experience across industry sectors, including education, lobbying/policy, technology, and business development. He has spent over ten years developing ideas and solutions to stay ahead of the curve in both the public and private sectors.
He has designed university-level courses and capstone projects, published articles for the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and G20 magazines, and routinely advises start-ups in the region.
Thomas regularly presents at corporate seminars and has hosted dozens of webinars, podcasts, and panel discussions with senior industry leaders. His latest EdTech project with ICC grew from zero to a multi-million-dollar company with clients in over 170 countries. He has been a member of four advisory boards, one of them as chairman. Thomas has lived in the United States, Europe, and now Singapore since 2015.
Thomas graduated with a Master’s degree in management from the American Business School of Paris (ABS), where he was named head of delegation for the Model United Nations, student council leader, and reached the Dean’s List for exceptional academic performance every year. He has also earned professional certificates from Harvard University and the University of London.

David is the founder and CEO of Kydon Group. He is also the CEO of ZilLearn, a learning platform start-up of Kydon and leads the charge in ZilLearn’s product concept, design, and development.
David is a visionary thinker in the future of learning and work.

As the former architect of the Singapore Armed Forces' digital learning transformation effort under the LEARNet program, David won the Defense Corporate IT Special Recognition (Individual) Award, in 2011.

David holds a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Design from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the National University of Singapore.
