Women's access to leadership, decision-making, and boardroom roles have been greatly disrupted by the pandemic and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Those who remain in power share that they spent their entire careers learning to build credibility by reading the room and seeking allies in a way that their male counterparts have not needed to. As such, their road into the boardroom has been one of self-taught leadership.
Nonetheless, as we gradually make our way out of this pandemic, organizations and employers need to re-architect their learning and development approaches to educate and encourage more women into leadership positions.
In this lunch talk, Professor Elizabeth Lee, CEO of Sunway Education Group will share with us the importance of creating a new learning culture to raise the next generation of female leaders.
